Auto leveling headlights pointing too high

So here it is. As the thread states my headlights point too high. Just noticed this the other day when I saw I was lighting up road signs like my high beams were on.
I know there is an adjustment screw but the lights were fine before so why would I even need to adjust them. My adaptive headlights do work. I see them adjust down and then up upon startup. And while driving they move left and right. There is no question as to them working.
My question is why are they now pointing higher than before and how do I fix this?

Did you recently do any suspension work or have any front end work done on your car? The front or rear ride height sensors may be damaged. They're located on the L/F control arm and the L/R lower control arm. It's worth taking a look to make sure they're okay. If they are, just adjust your lights

I will take a look but nothing is different and I'm still on stock suspension. Maybe my sensors are bad.
If the sensors were bad would the headlights still go through the auto leveling check upon startup?

Don't think suspension has nothing to do with this lol
You can adjust the leveling by moving a clip inside the headlight up or down. And you can also adjust it by turning some kind of plastic screw on top of the headlight

For better explanation!

A couple of times I noticed that after I changed the map using the cobb accessport it would set the headlights to max height.

Really????? Now that's something to look into! I'm procede but would bet there might be a similar effect.

So how would I know if the sensors are bad? I just bought a E92 w/ adaptive headlights and drove it 13 hours home at night. I must have been flashed 15 times by people I blinded. I noticed that it was aimed so high that hwy signs were blinding me. On startup, the lights adjust themselves and the cutoff looks fine. But then when driving it's as if they go upwards on their own. The car is lowered a good bit on KW's and has OSS modified lights. No errors for adaptive headlights. First BMW, so not sure what to look for problem wise.
