Where exactly is this track, and why don't I know about it? :-) I don't think I'm "dialed-in" quite enough, but I'd definitely spring for the $10 spectator ticket.

Makes you wonder why they are insisting on building a new F1 track here in Austin if they already have one worthy of F1 (according to what is mentioned in the event announcement).

also, a word of warning: if you are not a fan of aggressive offsets and ridiculous negative camber, this is not the show for you.

Really, this is the first I've ever heard of the place. Looked it up on a map and it's out in the boonies...where I suppose it should be, given the noise and such. But the photos on their website make it look like a pretty decently-built track. Probably not long enough for real F1, though.
