so tomarrow I have my first college interview, does anyone have any advice?

you are interviewing to get accepted into college? If yes, bring a stack o' cash...preferably with Franklins face on it.

be yourself. don't act like you're the smartest kid on earth, and don't act like a blithering too-cool-for-school punk either. I remember my college interviews back in the day. I remember one of them was with this really attractive sophmore. I spend the entire interview treating her like any other girl i'd be hitting on. I got in, but I never saw her again. No

I really just wanted an excuse to use that smiley

Be sincere, talk of having entrepreneurial spirit and how you would involve yourself in many of the extra curriculars the campus has to offer. Talk about possibly running for some sort of student office and how you would like to work on campus so as to improve student life.

Maybe mention some of the past students that have gone on to bigger and better things and how they have inspired you to apply to that school, etc, and so forth...

Good luck and be sure to invite us all to some of the ragers you throw....

by now you should already know what they're going to ask and have answers prepared... ie... how would you contribute/fit in/what do you have to offer for the school... why do you want to go there... have you've volunteered/worked etc... describe what you did etc

Thanks guys, most of the stuff i already knew but it was reassuring to hear that my plan was correct. Its at 9 am so im going to get there around 8:30. I'll post how it went.

What school in the Miami area requires you to interview anyways?

Not Rollins? but thats closer to Orlando anyways.

Boca Raton is pretty far from Miami. Also, just because he interviews in South Florida doesn't mean the school is down there. Most schools have recruiters that cover certain areas of the states. I had to interview for my school in South Florida and it was in Brooklyn,Ny.

Ms not this trip but I will say northeastern is a beautiful school with a very intriguing academic plan, I actually think its the top of my list right now.

haha 18 years in year round heat is too much for me plus its closer to DC where i ultimately want to end up and the internship opportunities at ne or american are very good, so its the north for me

but boston is beautiful, plus with the co-op program at NE i can be i can be in europe or anywhere in the world during jan-june (those are the colder months right?)
