Vishnu PWM meth kit review

This is my intial review as I do more testing and logging I will post more.

Install

Install was very straight forward and hard to mess up. Shiv provided everything you needed for the kit. Instructions were very detailed and pictures and youtube videos were great. The toughest part was getting his huge charge pipe to fit correctly. I dont think anything larger could of fit in that area. You are kind of forced to run dual cone intakes when you buy this kit. I have to sell my brand new injen now. The couple harness changes that you have to make are very simple. Just take your time. The first time doing this kit takes the longest. If i were to do it again it would probably take me 1/4 of the time. If your nervous just install while vishnu is open. I placed a couple calls in to robert and shiv even called me back to help. I couldnt ask for more.

Hardware

I was impressed with the hardware provided and how well everything is put together. I did recieve a AEM brand pump. I was a little disappointed it wasnt an aquamist mist pump. I dont know the reason for this. One other thing I was not to fond of was on one of the connections when you tap into the windshield wiper line, he puts one small pipe into a larger one. I would of liked a nice connector there just to make me feel a little better about meth leaking in the engine bay. It seems to be holding fine though with no problems. I wonder if shiv could offer SS lines as opposed to rubber. It would give me a little more peace of mind.

Feel

Methanol really transforms this car it feels like a different beast. The car just keeps pulling. I took a couple friends for a ride and they could not believe the difference. I was driving when it was 90 degrees out and with the meth the car does not get heak soaked. Just amazing. The meth intergration with the procede is just perfect. Very very simple. I havent logged anything yet i will do that soon. I have a buddy thats running basically the same mods i am with a pps system. We will both log and see how much of a difference there is between pps vs pwm.

Glad you are up and running . Just to avoid confusion, AEM, Snow, Devils Own, Aquamist, etc all use the same pump (Aquatec 5800 series). They only differ in terms of bypass spring setting and, at times, pump RPM. All the pumps have been modified to Aquamist's spec (180psi bypass). The only reason your pump says AEM is because we ran out of Vishnu stickers that we covered them with. As a funny aside, they were going to be from Snow Performance until they realized that they would be providing us with pumps for kits that would be theoretically competing with their own.

I will post up. Is there anything you guys would like to see in the logs. Basically my plan is to go out and log both our cars at the same temp humidity and everything. We will be running almost the same boost but there are some variables I can not help.

Thanks shiv for clarifying.

yeah thats a pretty stupid decision ... whomever did that should be shot... lol. I would think that selling vishnu their pump they would make money on that, plus people actually buying their kits. Weird!

Yep, Snow should have tried to be Vishnu's #1 provider for pumps.

Did you have an IC installed before meth? Curious as to the amount of heatsoak it helps with an IC already in place.
