I just discovered something interesting on www.2wglobal.com; if you go to Cargo Tracking/Auto Cargo and enter your VIN, one of things it returns is the bill of lading#. If you track by THAT, you get a list of ALL the VINs. In my case there are 1116, presumably everything BMW loaded at Bremerhaven?

I mean it is less than an hour from here, so I think that is a pretty safe assumption. Have you heard from your CA? Interested to know if they corroborate what mine has said.

My CA is retarded. I stopped by the dealership on Saturday knowing exactly where the ship was (en route to Halifax) and this is what he told me, "Ya the car is already on the boat, which is at the docks. But the unload date has been delayed by 3 days." So just to mess with him I said, "Well I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be unloading the cars immediately, they have a schedule to keep." Then he spouted off some more bullshit. But basically he said I should have my car in a week. So a week from last weekend is this weekend. But he obviously didn't know what the hell he was talking about so I wouldn't take anything he said at face value.

...the car should arrive at the dealership before the end of the week, so I have just a little hope that he is correct. He has not been wrong before, but I figure if I set the bar low--there is more upside to be surprised if it really is there. Let's hope the weather cooperates this weekend. Good luck to us both.

It was released to the carrier on Friday. Lazy-ass union truck drivers. My car is probably on the back of a truck in Bumblefuck, NJ while the driver is passed out in some nasty strip joint.
