Mobile 1 ESP 5-30W 5 liter on discount
Recession is not over yet, hence people hunt for bargains.
Just spotted that Halford is giving discount on all oils. Here is 5-30w ESP (fully synthetic) 5 liters going for £41.59. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165581 More interesting, I uses 0-40W (fully synthetic) which means more protection during colder morning in winter and warmer afternoons during summer. And amazingly Halford is selling it for £39.99. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165581 I am not sure about others, but for me these prices are reasonable. All the best. all these grades of oil is so confusing, i was recommened to use 0w30, a lot of people use the 5w30
is it ok to use the 0w40, have you used it in your E90 before? |

Azz, you can stick with 0-30W or 5-30W. As I said, I prefer 0-40W and used it in my Audi and E90. No complaints at all. I find the car smooth in low temperatures. |

Check out Opie oils as usual...
Fuchs TITAN GT1 XTL 5W-40 synthetic engine oil -5 Litres (Plus a 1L Bottle FREE) £29 with free postage. (Although I did add some Millers to the order, so that might have got me into the free postage bracket - can't remember). 6 litres for £30 is pretty good!

I wouldn`t use Mobil 1 New Life 0W-40 on any BMW with a DPF as its to
BMW LONGLIFE OIL 01 specs and not BMW LONGLIFE OIL 04. More to the point if you want fully than use Mobil 1 ESP 0W-40. on cars with DPFs otherwise they will get full sooner rather than later. |

Also ESP protects the turbo better than the others. So for Diesel users, ESP ticks all the boxes, whereas for petrol cars, mobil 1 new life would do the job.
