This country is too much of a soft touch on these matters. No taxpayer subsidy should be paid. There should also be restrictions on unemployment benefit for say 2yrs max to encourage the loafers to work. I do accept that some people who want to work cannot get jobs - but we need to target the loafers.

It almost seems incomprehensible.

The parents and the education system has failed massively.

proper education yes but things have already gone south in their case. the kids themselves are not going to have any of the opportunities that others their age will have because of their child. the child herself wont have a normal childhood either. maybe if not abortion then perhaps they should have given the kid off to adoption.

I saw a picture of them on the news he does look about 8 on there but switched it off as I don't think I could sit through it without SHOUTING at the TV

This is just down to the fact that poor people are stupid and must not be allowed to breed. They produce horrid little ferral children and within the next 20 years we will have a huge sub-culture of morons who live in caves and eat straw. I have never in my life met anyone who is not capable of finding a more appropriate hole to use, why is this so difficult for the dim? At 13 I was happy finding a copy of razzle up a tree.
