So I had an iPE exhaust for my 2012 MINI JCW (R56) and the weld from the pipe to the muffler busted and now they are in two pieces. iPE sent me a replacement and I put that on the MINI. I have since sold the MINI and exhaust, and acquired an e91.

I am looking to use the piping, flap/valve, and muffler from the busted exhaust and fabricating (specifically, have a shop do it) an exhaust for my e91 with these parts.

Now the hard part.. iPE does not sell the electronics or vacuum canister separately. Basically, there is a remote with on and off buttons that sends a signal to a controller that send a signal via a wire the the rear of the car where another device opens and closes a valve in the vacuum line which, in turn, opens and closes the valve in the exhaust.

It seems like I have three options, find someone selling just the electronics and vacuum canister (low probability), recreate all the electronics (very hard option), or figure out some way to control the valve in the exhaust using the vacuum lines in a way that is more simple. I am thinking that I can live without a wireless remote, but I still need to figure out how to open and close a valve in the vacuum line.

Any ideas?
