Pure Highway 300di

Has any one had a pure highway 300di DAB installed on a e90/91 etc as i have had nothing but problems trying to get one installed . Pure is selling this new product via Halfords that do the fit also and they are saying that they cant hook the power loom due tothe idrive. Local bmw specialist say the same but Pure are saying it can be done via cig lighter or another ignition source...any ideas??
