If you like yellow then go for it! It's your ride. Customize it the way you want to.

Its just a shame that the stock calipers are so lame looking and they rust on top of it.

I'm doing mine gold FTW! my rims are black, and if I do black calipers it'll wash the rims out. Plus, I like ricer stuff (despite what anyone esle says)

Your basic dupli color caliper paint. I left the calipers on cause it actually made it easier. I didn't want to trick anyone for thinking I had upgraded brakes, I just wanted them to look clean. Our stock brakes are quite good actually.

Jeff, this looks really clean and not overdone! (My new summer wheels are 19" 313s which really expose the hubs and calipers...I would like to paint them for the clean look but don't want to look ricey or faux-BBK so the silver seems like a good option.) The only other thing I thought would be cool would be the new M sport F30 blue color...Anyways, how has the paint job held up over the year?

Silver is perfect. Silver = OEM look with no rust.

I used the Silver G2 paint on my calipers and rotor hats. It was a lot of work (mostly removing the rust) but looks great.

How did you remove the rust, wire brush? Any solvents?

I used a drill with a wire brush attachment. I mostly used a 4" wheel like the one on the left. I then used one like the smaller cup to get the places the larger one missed.

I did not use any solvent except for lots of brake cleaner before painting.

Anything but red looks decent. I don't see the point of painting stock calipers.

If you want add some color, take a look at these. Your wheels will need to be 17"+ to use them. Powder coated and tons of options if you're willing to drop the cash.
