Help with lighting
I have an e91 330d msport, in black I was thinking of selling but keeping hold now so going to give it some loving, going to get the wheels powder coated in ferric grey and have the bodywork detailed, my question though is regarding the headlights, although the car is quite highly specced with idrive etc it has standard headlights, I think they are called halogen? Anyway I would really like angel eyes and to have them white like xenons? Could someone please give me a link for what I need and is it a straight forward job? Also i'v searched the forum but thought if get a concrete answer on which led bulbs I need to purchase for the rear number plate nights, thanks in advance

Is there not way of getting a whiter look, using bulbs? Also is it not possible to fit angel eyes to my current headlights? Replacing the headlights sounds expensive

Richk84 is correct! I am the guy haha As well as Danny.B and a few others.
I have created a thread called 'comprehensive parts list for xenon retrofit'! Take a look! It's the only legal and courteous to other road users way of getting xenons! Not easy or cheap mind you.. If you can live with just angel eyes get LCI headlights and get a osram night breaker bulb set, slightly whiter but clearly not xenon! |

Are there just 2 types of headlights, halogen and xenon, I assume I can't fit xenons as they need to be self levelling or is there a different type or do you mean aftermarket? Cheers

Read my thread!
Tells you all! Don't ever buy aftermarket! There are technically 4 types of oem that will fit: Pre LCI halogen(what you have now) Pre LCI xenon LCI halogen LCI Xenon |
