eBay E92 Performance Spoiler with Blue line quick Review (56K warning)

Hi all

I thought I would give my review of a custom Performance spoiler with blue line for my E92 LCI.

I ordered it off eBay for £182 delivered.

it arrived within 30 days from purchased and after confirming the exact details such as paint code colours, car fitment and carbon with the seller. They made and painted it within a week and shipped it out via Fed ex.

It arrived in a nice sized box and covered in foam layers.

The paint finish is very good, no defects, chips or swirls expected from cheap ones. It really has a nice and solid feel to it, like an OEM product.

Fitting is easy, they provide instructions via a PDF or links in the messages to you. The 3M tape is already attached to the spoiler so all I needed to do was clean the surface, check position and peel and stick. I used AP to clean the surface thoroughly beforehand.

Without further ado, here are the final pictures:

It really gives the finishing touch to the car, the blue line is an acquired taste maybe but while it is subtle, everyone that has looked at it mentions it.

I tested it up to 40 MPH after 1 hour and then 70+ after a day. it's going no where. I'm not suppose to drive it for 12 hours or wash it for that matter. But I did wash the car after 17 hours using snow foam and power wash. no problems. No effect.

I couldn't be happier

Nice, i like the blue.

If you haven't got plans for an exhaust, you should get some bigger exhaust tips.

Thanks, I am thinking blue brake callipers or BBK and maybe blue front air intake scoops.

But that's about it, not though about too much.

blue bbk and scoops sounds nice bud!!! they will compliment each other very nicely!

btw the 4" tips will fit your OEM diffuser, they fit absolutely perfectly!

but if your getting bigger tips...also worth considering the performance diffuser

Thanks, I hadn't seen one fitted to a car so it was a bit of a risk. Very happy with it now though.

I know exactly what you mean, there seems to be so many variations to the OEM performance spoiler. size, angle, shape. ofcourse there was the choice of a smaller lip spoiler too but that didn't seem to give the desired look I wanted. that's just my personal preference I guess

I had a few e-mails exchanges with happy and he was more than professional. An A class service, made everything exactly how I wanted and confirmed the it would be the one I wanted.

I think it looks great!!!

It's made me want to get this performance one but getting half painted (my car is silver, so a complete CF might be OTT)!

I'll be getting rid of the m3 sytle one I already have!

So you recommend this seller

Yes I definitely recommend happybuyitnow168, I know there are one or two on ebay that come highly recommended, The reason I chose happy was because he was able to do what I exactly wanted.

I did go to the dealer first to see what a performance one looked like. They only had one for the e82 and it looked good but not an ideal representation.

It's cheaper if you just get one colour over carbon and a coloured line.

I don't think an all CF would look to out of place, it depends on if you have a dark silver or light silver.

How are you going to remove the old one, the dealer told me that if you have a spoiler already you can't remove it? I'm guessing they are talking B.S as always.
