Finished Pics Of E90 Carbon Fiber Black Trim Pieces

FINISHED PICS OF E90 CARBON FIBER BLACK TRIM PIECES

Just finished up a set of e90 carbon fiber trim pieces and wanted to post them up. I have done many e46 carbon trim sets but these where twice as big and twice as long. Very difficult to do but looked great when finished.

Wow, gorgeous! This sure beats paying the crazy amount of money for OEM CF trim in my opinion.

How much would you charge to do this to my trim and where in the Midwest are you located?

Thank you and I am going to post up a build thread on the parts so you can see the process. I will include all materials and places to purchase them. For anyone who hasn't worked with carbon fiber I will warn you that these are very difficult to do. I would start with some scrap pieces and work your way up to trim pieces. The worst part about carbon fiber is you cant mess up or you have to scrap the part and start all over.

That is really just a wrap over plastic I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't real kevlar.

Thanks guys and I have been down for awhile due to health issues. I will start up a new thread with a build of some of the carbon pieces I have done. I will be honest carbon fiber is one of the hardest things I have had to learn. It is a very tedious and step based procedure with no room for error. I will post up the thread soon. thanks again

That's cause it's not a wrap, it's a true carbon fiber fabric that's bonded to the parts with resin, then the resin is built up and sanded smooth.
