Angel Eye White bulb

Hi, I have 07 335i e90 and I am taking my car soon to an indy shop to get the brake work done.

I thinking about changing the bulbs for the Angel eye from the yellow looking to the new white ones. I don't have much idea about this so wanted to check if it is simple taking the old bulb out and putting the new one in or it is much more then that. If I have to ask the indy shop to change it, how long do you think it should take.

I will really appreciate if somebody can guide me to the right bulb which should replace the bulb in the 07 model. There are so many on the web so not sure which one to look for.

Thanks

Lux bulbs look good. It's as simple as taking the old bulb out and putting the new one in. There are install guides Lux has made for them, you can easily get it done under an hour.

Agreed. Lux is an LED bulb that is plug and play. It's an easy DIY you can tackle. The only "hard" part is that there isn't a lot of room for your hand in the engine bay to unplug and plug the new bulb back in.

You can also go the OSS route, which are brighter and look like the new BMW model angel eyes, but you have to remove your headlights and send them in.

The MTEC V4 are only 9W. They were good when they came out a couple years ago.

Technology has far surpassed that offering in a short time. For instance we currently offer a 40 Watt solution that would be by no accident considerably brighter. You will also find our pricing point to be far better too. This is just one example of how outdated the Mtec V4 are compared to other current offerings.
