Isn't it an option through the iDrive? Might be wrong but thought I saw it when perusing stuck in traffic? Again not sure why you'd want to though?

And if you do want to you simply pull the handle twice in the same manner as when stationary right? Or press the button?
I agree this is a great feature for safety, I often have my iPad on the passenger seat for music, easily stolen if my doors are left open. |

I love the auto-lock feature.
If you don't have iDrive, it is possible to do this through the dashboard too. When I was looking through options in there I saw it. Just use the indicator stalk to go through the menus till you find it. |
