Lurching/Jerking during 1st/2nd gear
Hi there,
I've always had this problem with my 325i. I get a lurching/jerking motion in the first two gears when I get ON and OFF the throttle (with my foot COMPLETELY off my clutch). It basically makes for very jerky shifting and makes you bob back and forth a few times when accelerating and then again when I get off the gas. I have a modified CDV as well and a OEM SSK. But I don't think it has anything to do with the clutch/ssk because the car coasts fine but when you get on the gas it jerks to accelerate and when you get off the gas in a gear again it makes you bob back and forth right when you get off the throttle completely. Thanks! |

Might be worth doing throttle re-learn. My pedal had over an inch of 'dead' travel before I did mine - very difficult to drive smoothly...
