I probably should have explained with a little more clarity
i tried changing the LED's in the speedo and odometer and all that shit from red to white for a look very similar to a more - M3-look anyways, i hadn't touched a soldering iron since shop in junior high, but in my "i'm so great at everything" mentality -and disregarding the fact that anything i try to do that requires an skill, i screw up- i screwed it up... pretty miserably. only one or two of the LED's actually work. this makes it very difficult to see how fast i'm going at night time. so if anyone is good at this, i'd really rather have it fixed than replace the whole thing and then have to stick with the amber glow after all the effort, time, and money i'm a pretty lazy guy, so i'm probably going to deal with it for much longer than i should, so even if you read this a month - or 3 years - after this was posted, please reply thanks guys. (steak dinner, wine, and a generous serving of cash money included)
