First Time Bimmer Owner!
Hey everyone. My name is Michael and this is my first BMW and I love it! Recent IU Grad. Go Hoosiers! Picked up my 09 328i 6spd two weeks ago now. First thing I did was blackout grilles, zhp knob and debadged.
Any suggestions for my next mod? Drop me a comment.... |

New shoes and an M3 steering wheel. Those wheels gots to go, and an M3 steering wheel blows a non-sport wheel out of the water.

Sweet ride!! I was going to say tint, but it looks like its already done! It all depends on where you want to go with your car!! Maybe a little drop? (since your on standard suspension)
Im just about to black out my Grills tomorrow but cant decide to debadge or black out the badge as well |

Looks great OP! I love the LCI fronts and rear tail lights.
I second the steering wheel but the wheels are ok. One of the better OEM styles in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with your wheels btw..... Aftermarket headlights if you hate the halogens... An exhaust for better sound, interior LEDs, sport steering wheel, performance boot and shifter and ebrake

Depends upon your budget/interests. For a performance gain, you could start with a new exhaust system. I'd recommend Dinan or the Magnaflow #16537.
This is the magnaflow exhaust: |

The only reason I said the wheels needed to go was because I had the same ones on my 330i. They're fine if you're taking a stock approach! Steering wheel was by far my biggest bang for the buck interior mod I did. It's the one thing you interact with every single time you drive the car.

Nice to see a fellow IU grad! Congrats! I moved out of state for work, but I go back to B-Town every now and then because I have family in the area.
Nice car! Glad that it's manual. Mine is not because the fiancee wanted to be able to drive it. If I have my way though, she's going to take it eventually and I'll get myself something with three pedals. As others have mentioned, I'd say a simple exhaust should be your first mod. The I6 sounds nice and sweet, but it sounds even better with an exhaust! I think your wheels are fine otherwise. I would highly suggest xenon headlights if you can find some. I've been spoiled by them!

Looks good! I actually think your wheels look good for stock. I would do sport/m3 steering wheel, sport suspension or coilovers, and find some xenon headlights to make the front look aggressive.

Nice ride! Looks really good with those wheels!
You should get on ebay and order an M3 rep trunk lip/spoiler. They come painted to match your car and are only like $57 shipped. The seller is from Taiwan. Mine came within a week of ordering and the color match was spot on. Congrats on your new-to-you E90!!! |

I would get: Apex ARC-8 wheels and non rft tires AA tune CAI exhaust M3 or M sport wheel short shift kit * the best for last ... suspension (area 51) These are very subtle mods that will make the car more fun to drive while keeping it classy. Wheels are the best bang for your buck but no rush. Reducing unsprung weight increases performance. Please don't buy cheap parts and then come back and ask "please help". Do your research and ask questions BEFORE you buy! You have a nice color combo. Have fun!! And bring Helga to track sometime to get some lovin |

Beautiful car, Black on Black is a tasteful color combo! An M3 wheel would be a great addition and I really like the debadged trunk, looks clean!
