what clay bar do you use?

Just given the 320 her weekly wash and have noticed some tree sap seems to have built up...

I basically want to know if a clay bar is a clay bar? At £20 a pop I want to make sure I get a decent one... Any brand to look out for? I wash the car with autoglym...

Cheers in advance...

I've used the meguiars clay bar, got it in halfords, was about £23 I think.

I'd never used a clay bar before I got it, but I was impressed with the results and smoothness of the panels after using it.

Get some BH clay, £10 for a 200g bar. You cut the bar up into 4 pieces

+1 I use BH also, mostly because as said, you can use just water with it and don't need to waste QD.
I use it on everything - paint, wheels, exhaust, glass, even around the house!

I've tried several and to be honest, they are all much of a muchness.

I used to always get the meguiers kit and found it worked well, tried bilt hamber as it was meant to be good but I didn't really get on with it, its pretty hard, leaves residue if you rub near an edge that's hard to get off...maybe the soft BH is better as I just used the regular?
