Which are "THE LED" Angel Eyes to get these days?

I just noticed the passenger side Angel Eyes have stopped working and it's the perfect excuse to get new LED Angel Eyes installed.

What are the best and/or highly recommended ones to get nowadays?

I have a 2007 E92 and I am looking for vey bright ones.

TIA

This is an easy question to answer if you did some quick searching.

Lux H8 180. Search it and see if you like em.

Check out the vendor section. I can't boast what we sell but I can say there are some comparable and favorable options .

Can you please chime in with your thoughts at this thread? Your 240W look interesting.

The politics in the lighting section are limiting what I can say, especially towards competing brands.

However, I can answer direct questions about an offering directed towards me:

If no difference, couldn't we just purchase stock LEDs for the coupe and install them into the sedan?

Onto recommendations, if stock LEDs from the coupe don't work then what brands does everyone recommend? I see Lux is popular, but their new H8 180 is more than I want to spend, unless they are absolutely worth the price. The HPB 240 H8 on TGS looks amazing and much more affordable. Any other brands to consider, and what's everyone's thoughts?

Quick edit. 3rd brand I am considering is DTEC 250W H8 Angel Eyes V14
Any others?

Are the 240 too bright? Will heat from either bulbs cause the angel eyes to discolor and turn yellow? Will both of these behave completely like my stock halogen angel eyes? My stock angel eyes stay on during the day as daytime running lights, they also turn on with my fob for when I'm walking up to the car at night. They dim slightly when my xenons turn on. I would like all these functions to remain the same.

Lots of questions, appreciate any input you all can offer. Thanks

On a quick note, I run the HPB 240W on my personal car and have no hesitation in recommending them. I don't find them too bright. The heat is a non-issue. They behave just like stock. Plug and play. No modification. No errors. They turn on when you unlock your doors and dim like stock when the xenons turn on. 100% functionality like stock. No BMW Tax.

Thanks for the reply, what is the lumens output on your product compared to a 180W product. Does yours flicker when turned on, or fades in? Warranty?
Compatability with 2011 Adaptive xenon headlights?
Anything else I should know?

Thanks!

I have the Xenons on my E90 LCI and the Lux's are an amazing fit. They're so bright and absolutely no flicker. Very good in really cold weather too.. -30C.

I have the Lux H8 180s and would buy them again

I have the HPB 240w from TGS. Only had them for a couple of months, so can't speak on reliability over time, but so far, so good.

Install is a pain if you have big hands(like me), but they all are. This isn't a knock against the product, it's just how the headlight housings are designed by BMW.

The lights are bright, a good match in K to the stock Xenon headlights and were plug and play on my 2010 E92 with AHL. If others are brighter, I don't know, but I don't necessarily see a need for them to be any brighter than these. They are very visible on a sunny day. Of course, the outer rings are dimmer than the inner, but again, this isn't a fault of the LEDs, but a design "feature" by BMW...the same goes with visibility from certain angles.

I also paid the extra 10 or 15 bucks for an extra year of warranty, figured it was a small price to pay, just in case.

Thanks for the feedback. I've had the HPB 240W on my personal car for 2 years. (One of the first test cars). They are very reliable and have a less then 1% failure rate.

Glad you are liking them. Enjoy!
