Be sure you have stance before you post pics here, I just got spacers and I still don't think I have stance so I won't post here.

I had almost the exact same thought.

E92 pre lci
I'm gonna get some Varrstoen wheels soon, 19x9.5F 20et 19×11R 22et. Plan on lowering the car on BC coils .5 in the rear maybe 2" in the front to balance out the uneven look from the factory. I've decided to go with 235/35F and 265/30R. My question is whether those are the largest size tires I can go with for that drop and wheel specs? I would ultimately prefer to go up to 245/275 because I'm not a fan of stretched tires, but I've been told it will rub like crazy. I'm actually fine with the stock height in the rear and I can leave it like that and only drop the front if I have to to make these fit. I'm also comfortable running upwards of 2 degrees of negative camber front and rear if I have to along with shaving/rolling/pulling fenders for added clearance. So can I fit 245/275? If not which tire brand has the firmest sidewall to choose from that can be stretched to fit those widths?

if youre not a fan of stretched tires and just want a 245-275/285, just run a 10 +38. no fuss no rub and "traction" all day even holidays. but no stance points for you lol

But I wants stance points!! Lmao. It's not a huge deal for me. I came from a G35 coupe and it was a lot easier to fit wide wheels and beefy tires. I will do the recommended sizes if I have to. Plus more stretch equals more loww which is never a bad thing in the looks department.

I have pre lci e92 and have 19x9.5 +15 235/35 and 19x10 +15 255/30 Toyo and camber in spec. So essentially you will be 3mm more aggressive than me for rears and I still rub I'm lowered on kw about 1.5 F and R. If you gunna put aggressive wheels on your car and not lower it aggressivly it will poke even more and look pretty retarded. -2 degree isn't much camber.

Toyo and falken are good for stretch.

Damn, 15et front and rear? That's crazy on these cars. What's your camber? I've been a fan of your stance from day 1 with those 7 series wheels. They always looked like they were right within OEM specs for alignment.

I hav 19x11 +25 on a 265/30 and i really wish i chose a 275/30 but everyone told me it would rub. Im like you, i wanted to least amount of stretch possible but still wanted some stance. I have a e90 tho which has more room if im not mistaken.. My fenders are cut, also my camber is less than -2.

Yep, my camber is in specifications, I m not sure what you mean by 7 series wheels, I have BBS LM-R. But nonetheless 275/30 will be too much for what you're asking stick with 265/30.

damn this makes me feel a lot better, i'm rolling my fenders tomorrow to put a 10.5 et22 255/30 and was worried it was still going to rub

Lmao. That's real funny man. You come up with that all on your own?! I asked a simple question and I clearly said I had no problem running the recommended tire sizes, camber, shaving and rolling my fenders as well as lowering the car to make the wheels I want fit. Just asked for other opinions. I'm so glad guys like you exist to add to the conversation with your wealth of knowledge. Good job.

sorry didnt mean to come off like a dick but everything you said in your post was pretty anti-stance. if you're willing to do what it takes, then go for it. if in the back of your mind you really want to be more conservative about tire stretch, fender mods, alignment, ride height, then stance might not be not for you.

if you're going forward with it, stick with 235/265. i would even say 225 in the front. i have the same wheel specs and had a lot of rubbing problems on KW V2 because it was too soft. i'm on BC coils now and it helped. just got my car aligned today and now i'm almost rub free. the key is 0 toe in the back with max camber (mine maxed at -2.8). i was aligned to -3 rear camber with stock toe on the KWs and my right rear especially rubbed like crazy over any significant dip or bump.

my front had major rubbing issues where the fender mounts to the bumper, but the E92 might be different since the fender is plastic. i increased front camber to -2.5 and now theres no more rubbing, but it looks too tucked in. might play with spacers to get it to look better.

E92 body is supposed to be a bit narrower too, so YMMV.

Cool beans man. No offense was really taken, I like being a dick too sometimes. I know you didn't mean anything by it. Anywho, the reason I'm having second thoughts is because with this car I'm torn. I love the look of stanced cars and the e92 like most other vehicles is sexy as hell when done right. That being said I also wanted a little more rubber because I plan on going FBO with a tune and was hoping to keep some traction because of that.

I'm no stranger to stance. I came from a stanced G35 coupe and had wheels with similar specs as far as width and diameter and I was running 225 and 255 respectively. Along with BC coils and 3.5 degrees of neg camber all around. The stretch wasn't an issue then because the G albeit a sexy beast is a fat, slow cow! Lol. So power mods were out the window in the pursuit of low and slow since that best suited that cars design.

Just trying to find a happy medium since I now have a car that I can actually make fast without sinking 10-15K bucks into it and I can make it sexy too. 235/265 isn't that bad at all but I know with the stretch and negative camber my power goals may go by the waist side. Thanks to everyone for their inputs, I truly appreciate it. Sorry for the thread jack guys.
