Looks like all of us, even as far away as DC, are getting the same answer. That's wild that someone as close as you aren't getting it at least 1 day earlier than us DC folks. Oh, well. Next week will do. Can't complain it has only been 1 month since I placed the order and according to most, that is extremely fast to get it.

The OC website finally is updated with "At Prep Center". That site was pretty good til it got on the boat. After that, completely unreliable via site and 800 number.

yeah, my dealership is like 20 miles from the port and it would be nice to have the weekend to break the car in, but originally i didn't think i would have the car before november, so even 10 days early is a bonus.

my **guess** is that a LOT of you in the greater NJ, NY, PA, etc... region are in the same situation, adn its possible your dealer is holding back on contacting your until the car is 100% good to go and ready to be turned over.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you taking delivery from? I ordered from BMW NYC and I haven't heard from my CA all week. He hasn't returned emails or voicemails and I'm getting pretty pissed about the radio silence since Monday.

Frankly, I should be as close, if not closer to the port than you are and if you're taking delivery tomorrow there is NO REASON that I shouldn't also be. I'm going to have to rent a car for the weekend because my worthless CA has yet to respond to my messages. Needless to say, I'm heated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news...however, I'm picking up mine this afternoon. I would really push for an answer on why you haven't received word yet to when your's will be ready. I'll post some pictures if I make it back in the house today!

My CA spent as much time with me today as I wanted (and he told me yesterday he spent 3 1/2 HOURS with an older gentleman who took delivery on an M5 - all iDrive training - LOL). I dragged my wife and son along and after my CA was just about done training me (1 hour soup to nuts), my wife's caller ID shows up on the bimmer's radio through blue tooth
- me:"UH OH!!!"
-her: "where ARE YOU, we can only watch so much sponge bob. Are you ready to go yet??!!"
-me "done soon, honey!"
we went back in and had to take care of some paperwork with another person, and my CA actually went over to my wife and son, and made sure they were cool that's service!!

bottom line, the best purchasing experience I've had.

bottom, bottom line - your car is at the dealership. every dealer should take heed and do business like mine.

answering your question: Flemington BMW. awesome.

I think I saw you there today. I was there around 3:30. Mine was the black one parked behind yours to the right. Too funny! Mine had the same number of miles as yours. Now...mine has 150+. My wife was at work. So, I had to leave my old car there. Drive home, wait for her, drive back and drive both cars back tonight. Too tired to post any pictures today.

My CA called yesterday....my car finally arrived at 9:30 in the morning......but they refused to prep it for me. I may have to wait another week, as dealer is 100 miles away. Question..In VA are State taxes rolled into price of vehicle or spread out like the lease calculators suggest. The finance mgr told me total sales tax is added, not just percentage of use?. Also I am told BMW finance has a $899 aquisition fee. Then tere is a dealer processing fee that I did not notice on my purchase agreement....

I did not have any of the fee you had mentioned of at least know of. I am not familiar with the lease process but my tag and taxes were included in with my 4.90 rate. HOpe that answer your question if not then may have not fully understood your question.

Still no word from my CA - so much for BMW client relations.

I remain cautiously optimistic that I still may be able to take delivery later today.
