Xmas Presents

Just wondered if any of you lot have one of those digital photo frame thingies ? Ive just got one from Amazon for about 90 quid (Linx 7 incher), i know you can get cheaper but this one seemed to get good reviews.

Should have posted this before I bought it I suppose, but I can always send it back if mum and dad dont like it.

I also got a Nintendo DS for the missus, as she liked that Brain Training game....certainly the right game for her i can tell you

Maybe we can all post what pressies we are buying for Xmas

Carlos: keep it clean

cheers

I live for the stress of a Christmas Eve shop ...

Desperation is a great help when choosing a gift. One year I bought everything from my local Asda at 5:00pm on the 24th Dec.

That's the way to do it!! Once did all my Xmas shopping in a 30min lunch break on Xmas eve. There's no other way. If you have 30 mins to do something it'll take 30 mins, if you have 6 months, it'll take 6 months etc. Apart from some things that is

Quality!

I spent a couple of hours on t'internet last night looking for pressies for my 3 year old son who wants a toy Ferrari, Lamborghini and Golf GTi (like Dads, aw schucks). Thing is, he specified in his letter to lapland that he did not want remote/radio control just 'push along' - Toys'r'us etc only seem to have remote control Fezzas/Lambos.

God bless the Ferrari shop and ebay is all I can say! Shiny red F430 like Dad drove on his recent track day and bright yellow Gallardo and silver GTi (couldn't get black like mine) on their way!!

I will revert to type and get everything else on Christmas Eve like most other blokes!

I managed to get a Nintendo Wii from Amazon Germany (for my boys) at a cheaper price than UK (and you can't get them here) so I consider that a Xmas pressie success. Have gone overboard this year with Mrs G's pressie so it might buy me 10 minutes of peace!

Oh boy,are you gonna regret that.
I'd start exercising your wrist Andy, cos your right hand is going to get severely tested post Xmas day.

Once she starts on the DS,you'll not get a look in, and smacking the pony will become an all consuming hobby.

DON'T let her see it and take it back.

You have been warned!

We're all miserable sods in my family & don't bother with xmas presents as we've agreed we just end up exchanging money in effect. We simply enjoy each others company and drink together, then I avoid my brother-in-law's hands for the rest of the night. No chance of him getting a bj, xmas or not!!

Guys, maybe I worded that incorrecty. It's not that we all dislike xmas, far from it. Christmas is for kids though really? I still buy my neice & her boyfriend something & my younger sister I give money as she's on her own and doesn't have the luxury of a dual income. Besides I cook the ruddy xmas lunch for them all, that they all seem to take for granted now!!
