I'll apply sealant with the PCXP often. Only wax by hand personally though.

Somewhat in agreement here....especially now that I have BSM paint. When I had TiAg and AW, I definitely waxed/wash more often. Now, I'm just reluctant to wax the car often. I do wash her at least 2x month with very light pressure. Then, once a year, I have her professionally detailed to rid the swirl marks.

In the winter, I go probably 2 months. But in the summer, despite the heat, I'm more diligent because I see what the desert sun does to cars out here. JetSeal + Natty Blue at all times.

Just put on a coat of Natty's Red. First time using it, smells nice but took me some effort to get it off. I probably put too much on.

get a power converter for your car? that could work possibly. not sure how bad that will drain your battery. I don't own a buffer and i am not sure if i want to venture out an buy one. If i can find a deal for a good detail for $100-$130 i'd rather just pay. doing that once a year for 4 years is about the same cost as buying everything to do it myself.

with the winter i just sealed before winter started and washed and sealed whenever it got warm enough. over the summer i wash weekly and wax every other week to once a month.

I use Natty's blue and when applied thin it's easy to get off, you probably did apply too thick and maybe the foam pad was a bit dry?

I use very thin layers and have a little bit of QD on hand when using Natty's Blue. A very small amount of QD on the removal MF helps a lot.

I am in this camp too....anyway it seems that look that's achieved only lasts a matter of days, because if it isn't rain, it's dust or pollen so I feel the wax is for looks, and maybe the once per year to make sure that water beads off of it i.e. some protection....

My friend does detailing so I usually give the car to him once every two months for a nice wax. I wash it with a small cotton towel 2-3 times a week and use the turtle spray on wax. Last week I washed it in the rain, because even if it was raining, it was still going to be cleaner than it was before. My neighbors always look at me funny.

Even better idea than keeping the applicator moist. I go thru PB Spray & Gloss like it's water but I use it every wash every week, except when I wax I should say.
