I also like how almost right after they announce the device, it's available for purchase (unlike most other manufacturers).

The droid bionic has a 1ghz dual core, is that the best they can do?

Ipads are fun to play with though.

They are. I'd buy one in a heartbeat but two things hold me back: 1) no SD card slot 2) no flash.

Granted they are fun to play with id rather buy another laptop or upgrade my desktop for the price.

Obviously no but look at the iPad's price compared to the rest. Besides, hardware <<< software and nothing tops iOS.

I couldn't even name one of the other "tablets" it could be the best one out there for all I know, I just don't see the point of them.

lol im waiting on a mac mini update, I was gonna get a MBP but I think the iPad 2 suits my needs better for mobility reason

plus I still have an older MBP

Thinner than the iphone and with the mobile hotspot in iOS 4.3 for the iphone, I don't know why anyone would get the 3G version of this and pay for the extra data plan.
