It's not icy with you yet is it?

If so, get some proper screenwasher additive in there now, otherwise you stand to loose the wash jets and painted covers, it will cost you plenty if you loose one (or both)

A forum search in the UK section will reveal loads of recent info on this very problem.

Mine started doing this recently.
No sign of cold, never less than 5C and car is garaged in warm anyhow.

Bought a new pair on ebay for £25 which was lucky, just CBA to fit them, maybe I can rustle up some enthusiasm this w/e

They both stick out an inch, but can be pushed home. They no longer wash properly.
When out they often leak badly and I lose a lot of the bottle onto the floor now.
I think its an O seal issue, perhaps incompatability with certain washer fluids (Halfords?) or just much inside them.

One they are removed I'llbreak them down and let you all know the cause.

Steve.

if you have a warranty and you want them repaired/replaced you need to be using the approved screen wash.

Otherwise you wont get it replaced by BMW.
