Do I replace one or two tires??

Hey gang,

I found a bubble on the sidewall of the Potenza this afternoon.

According to the 'BMW Inspection' just before buying the car a week or two ago there are '4mm to wear bars' on both front tires. I believe it's 6mm when the tires are brand new? My best guess is these tires have about 15,000 miles of driving on them.

Am I okay just replacing the one front tire, or should both be replaced?

ZB.

Well, at $415 + tax a tire, Canadian ... I'd rather just replace ONE just after X-mas, if at all possible

415 plus tax for a run crap? Laughable.

Get some real tires

Keep it as is and replace the four tires when the tread is dead.

What would you replace with?

I thought it was an absolute must to replace a tire with a sidewall bubble right away?
