Fender Roll - Pulled Too Far. Any way to reverse?

Help, I am looking for some input from those in the know. I had my fenders rolled, and they were pulled too far out for my taste. The fenders are pulled and the lip is flared out. The service center is apologetic and is looking into a fix. Does anyone know if there is a safe way to push this back; if even just partially ?

Any constructive help is appreciated.

Thanks

Wouldn't bending it around too much possibly degrade the paint and make the metal become very flimsy? Usually sheet metal can only be bent once or twice before its structural integrity is bad.
I'm not an expert or anything, just taking a guess based on my workings with sheet metal.

Dude!!! Sorry about your car. There is bad news for you. You can always streach and flare the metal, but you can't push it back to shape. This will be an expensive fix. Sorry.

Wow... there's no fix for that unless you get new fenders welded on.

I dunno -- looks kinda like a "porsche" effect...maybe you'll grow into it. In any case, like the others said, it's permanent. You **can** shrink metal, but it would require pulling them off, a lot of hammer and dolly work, and a repaint. And they still probably won't look as sleek as either original or what you have now.

Call it a "feature" and be done.

Take it to paintless dent repair, and see what they can do. Some slide hammer action and they might be able to get it as good as new.

Like was said, you can shrink metal, but you'll need a repaint.

What you got going for you is that your paint is silver. Silver is one of the softer paint colors and is less likely to chip. I don't have any experience or feedback on what you can do to bend the fender back though.

You ARE joking, right? That's WAY beyond anything paintless repair can possibly fix.

The more I look at it the more I kinda like it personally. Maybe you should just get some wide as HELL tires since you have the room.

Some of the oldtimers use heat to reshrink metal and with all the practice they have they leave it perfect. They fixed a decent dent I had on another car, stretched metal and all. Perfect results, I actually complemented the guy for his work.
If it's the cheapest option, I wouldn't know.

Too bad. Maybe you can source some parts from a wrecked car?

I honestly wish I had pulled mine this far, it turned out great, you didnt seem to crack the paint, and now you can go pretty much with any setup you want! Go wide!

Heat doesn't shrink sheetmetal. You sometimes have to heat it to anneal (soften) the metal, to keep it from cracking when worked with a shrinking hammer. Yes, someone who knows what he is doing can do amazing things with hammers and dolly work, but NOT without ruining the paint!

Should've taken the rear bumper off when u roll the fender...so it'd be even, then re-attach and it'll stretch a bit of the bumper to fit it better...now u have a rolled fender that ends abruptly and becomes a sharp point where it meets ur rear bumper...

at least that's how i did it back in the day with an Eastwood roller

That's true, a respray is necessary after going at it. I was amazed at this guy. He left it like it never happened, impossible to see work has been done.
For this kind of work, I'd look for older people with a lot of experience.

I'm usually one for doing very moderate mods, but that doesn't look bad at all. Actually, it looks kind of aggressive and as was mentioned, you now have the ability to put some serious tires/spacers on there.
