Anyone in SoCal have their wastegate/turbos warrantied at a SoCal dealership? I'm trying to find a good dealership that will be honest and not give me a hassle about warranting my wastegates/turbos. It is obvious they are defective based on the abnormal sound they're making.

Any recommendations on dealerships (preferably around LA)?

Thanks a lot guys....very much appreciated. Have you both had success getting the turbo's/wastegates covered under warranty.

Like most people I'm scared of getting a $2,000+ labor bill if they take everything apart and decide its not sufficient evidence the part(s) are defective.

I can clearly hear the ticking sound and it sounds much higher than in the past. I feel its def defective but not 100% BMW will feel the same.

I have a 2007 e90 335i w/ 42,xxx original miles.

also interested in this as well. the abnormal ticking is horrible during the first 1-2 minutes of startup and sometimes i hear it when i drive past a truck.
