Need Help N54 Gurus! Temperature Sensor!!

I am getting that 37 Degree warning from my car. It was recently in an accident and the light goes on for no reason which probably means that it is un-plugged. Has any of you come across where it is located in the engine bay? THANKS!!!

This thread explains it a bit, but it is on the cowling left of the cabin filters and right of the ecu box cover, kinda sitting up on top with a wire going to it. Pic in the attached thread.

That thread is about the pollutant AC sensor that measures dirt in the incoming air, not the temperature sensor. AFAIK the temp. sensor is somewhere near/in one of the fron wheel wells, but I'm not sure. I can check later if it is described in the TIS.

Scimitar let me have a look at my car tonight. If I am not mistaken its at the intercooler inlet on the left side of the car. I recall seeing it when fitting the helix.

This is what you want, and yes, I believe it is either in the brake cooling ducts, or the IC inlet.

It is located in the plastic shroud behind the front bumper. I don't remember exactly where, I just remember it being there when my FMIC was installed. Take off the bumper and you can't miss it, realoem.com shows the correct part too.
