Joining the club

HI All, just got mine recently. 2008 E90m DCT. Coming from a E46m, the E90m is a very modern car. Huge improvements in the comfort front and all the new tech makes me feel like i'm on a spaceship. I'm hating all the rattling from the dash area and am determined to get rid of them all (especially near the cup holders!). I miss my old car and its clutch pedal, but the family loving the 4 doors.

anyway, nice to meet you all. c u around!

thanks guys. got a quick one, where do you guys get ur parts from? not looking to do much at the moment, will be adding some cf bits and pieces and do an LCI conversion. it seems hard to find locally... any recommendations? also looking at some good rubber, the stock ps2 are getting old, pss seems to be the common upgrade, what else do you guys suggest?

Hey Hans, glad you found you way here

Tires would depend on your driving style and Budget.
All weather would be F1A2, 5P, and PSS
Dry Grip you can try RE11, ZII, AD08
Ultimate Dry Grip would be like TD, R888, PSC

5P and ZII is on my to try list.

Sunny

Thanks v much all! Decided to try ad08r, these seem to the above average on the dry grip and wear sector, but also not too expensive. Size wise, I couldn't get gts spec, so made due with 255.35.19 and 275.3019. Will report how they are after a bit more driving.

Next up, slight suspension mod. This car won't see the track, what r ur Thots on dinan stage 1?

don't go for dinan, they are old and the community tends to go for jb4 or cobb asit will give you much more flexibility.

regarding your tires sizes, you will get rubbing if you touch the suspension..

Thanks Yoro! For m3 going with Cobb and jb4, do u suggest using e36m bump stops in order to maintain shock travel?
