Need help... Looking VMR VB3 rims with tires. Anyone know a site online where I can purchase as a package?

Also what size I can run with sport suspension on 2008 bmw 335i. Sorry for noob questions but brand new to bmw world.

As for the what size, i think this is the best setup for VB3's at least for Pre-lci E90.

Any particular reason for going with 19" over 18" wheels? I'm looking at possibly getting some V710s and am debating between the two sizes due to cost differences between rims and tires.

Not really.It's more or less personal preference. 18 inch wheels have more rubber to cover the wheel. 19 inch is more for looks, but in my opinion 18 inch wheel can look equally good as 19 inch. The width of the wheel and offset are also quite important to make the wheel look good.

i have 18in VB3s on my LCI. just be weary of the finish. I have crazy flaking on one wheel for Hyperblack. Unfortuantely it happened after the 1 year warranty. It's like each layer did not stick to each other.

IMO, 18s for e90/1, 19s for e92/3

I'm also interested in the v710 or the v701. Do you all think one is better than the other? And as my car is black I am not sure of color quiet yet. I think hyper silver stands out too much.

Which ever you like the best. I don't think there is difference in quality. In my opinion in this order VB3, V701, V710. If you think hyper silver stands out too much how about hyper black.

I saw tire rack and some nice enkei raijin. How would the VB3 or V710 from VMR compare to the Enkei Raijin? Durability and warranty mostly?

I haven't compared our wheels to the Enkeis directly, so I can't comment on their quality. All of our wheels come with a one year manufacture defect warranty and this will cover problems with the finish. The warranty will not cover any physical damage to the wheels caused by road hazards though (potholes, curb rash, etc.). If you ever had any issues with your wheels you could always shoot us an email and we'd be happy to assist you.

We cannot do that type of finish with powder coating at the moment.

I jus ordered the same set up. Do you have any tips or recommend any products to protect the finish? Did you put some spacers on with these wheels? I was thinking 10mm for the rear and I'm not sure about the front. I haven't measured the gap yet but any input would be appreciated.

i had the wheels from my e46, so my et was at 40. to my that is too high for the e9x platform. I threw a 10mm spacer up front and a 15mm out back. In retrospect, i could have done a 12mm up front and an 18mm out back putting my et at 28 front, 22 rear making it pretty close to the fender on stock suspension. for the finish, i just use soap and water and wheel wax. works perfect. My only issue was one wheel with what appeared to be a defect in how the paint adhered. Unfortunately it was 2.5years after i got them as for an alignment, bmw had to drill out the alignment holes as the finish as too thick. And then when a shop went to mount the tires, even the teflon glides chipped the paint. I may just order 1 wheel to replace it. So far, 5 years in and the wheels are doing great otherwise.

Trying using a high-temp sealant like Poorboys or just get Optimum Opti-coat and never have to put a wax/sealant on them again.

These VB3 looks like the Alufelgen SF 71 I'm debating on getting.

Id go with the Alufelgens. They have an updated spoke design that looks better in my opinion near the edge of the rim. It appears like a thinner ring around the wheel making the rims look larger.

I actually like the VB3 design as it looks like there is a lip when the wheels are in motion. All personal preferences though.

The VB3 was one of my choice but for some reason I like the Alufelgen better. Also they are low pressure cast compared to gravity cast.
