Is cylinder 1 near the front or back of the engine

??

Can anyone tell me? I'm thinking about switching the coils to see if my misfires has been bad injectors or bad coils.

That's mean, he left out that the "front" is the part of the engine where the clutch is, IE facing the back of the car.

Seriously? So when I'm standing in front of the car, cylinder 1 is towards the back?
