Dunlop Z1 265/35R18

I know 255 is the maximum for stock 189 8.5 rim, but since a few guys said it is O.K, I thought I give it a try and ordered Dunlop Z1 265/35R18 for the rear and 235/40R18 for the front.

The tires came today. The front looks O.K., but the rear 265 looks much wider than stock 255 Bridgestone, maybe something to do with the profile/shape of Dunlop Z1 tire?

I want wider tires because the stock bridgestones don't provide enough traction, slipping often at quick accelerations. What is the chance those 265s will fit? I want to know before installation if possible because if they dont fit, I will have trouble to return them after having them mounted once.

wow 265 were already on the limit when i put them on my OEM 9 inch rim so i dont think they fit on 8.5 rim.
