I cannot believe how wide-spread this is; supposedly professional traders who cannot even string together 100 words and present a decent advert.

I was perusing autotrader over the weekend (as I often do!) and the amount of garages that had no clue as to what they were even selling was amazing - how do these companies stay in business?

I sold my wife's A4 avant last month and got well over book for it - I'd like to think that was all down to the advert description and photo's that were taken - the phone rang off the hook.

I'm sure if I had written an advert or taken pictures with the lens cap still on like the goons in Steve's link the car would still be sat on the driveway.

diesel in overview, petrol in vehicle summary...
insurance group 16 in overview, 20 in vehicle summary...

was the guy drunk or what!? It strikes me how little in general car sales men know about cars. In general, I always know more about the car I am looking at then the sales guy, and they only need to know the specs of the cars they are selling, normally even only one brand. The bullshit I was told by a VW sales guy was just astonishing. The same by some BMW sales guys. Really annoys me and in general and makes me want to walk away.
