Update 4/15/2014:

Bentley Publishers will be releasing an updated E90 service manual, to include MY2011 and the N55 engine, on June 2nd. It is available for pre-order on their website now. It's $150 on Bentley's website but I just pre-ordered on Amazon for an even $100.

Hello, while there is no official release date for the newest 3 series manual, it is due for release very soon. The newest manual will be updated to include the N55 engine, as well as changes for the Coupe and convertible LCI cars. We have also included repair procedures for a few common issues that customers have made us aware of. I hope you check back often for the official release date.

Hello, I'm the sales & marketing manager here at Bentley. Yeah, the new manual will be out for June 2nd. I've been working pretty closely with the editors on the project for a while now so if anyone has any questions about what will be in the book, post them here and I can ask the editors. Depending on what it is, I might even be able to post an excerpt from the book.

Actually, and with all due respect but please don't. We're not a huge company, those of you that have been to our tech sessions or seen us at shows will know that we're actually kinda small. Posting links to download bootlegs of our stuff is continually putting us in a tough spot, we're hoping to stay in the BMW tech manual business for a long time and a massive amount of hard work goes into each manual we write.

good news for n55 owners like myself.. I have never had any experience with the this publisher so I don't have any specific questions about what is covered in there but maybe a sample pdf should be provided.. I would gladly buy it if I saw the sample and liked it just my two cents

My manual arrived today. I read/scanned through the entire thing this afternoon. It appears to be very comprehensive and well laid out. The N55 is well covered alongside the other engines. I haven't used it for any repairs yet but my initial impression is that its worth every penny.
