Need some help with the ECU

Iam taking my car in for an oil change and some other BS things and iam taking the Jb3 out but the problem is that when i installed the JB the left slider that you slide in to lock in the DME to to the ecu went in perfectly, however the right slider wasn't so smooth and when i jiggled it out so i could try it again the DME got locked in place with no slider and has been like that for 4 months with no problems. But iam going to service now and i was wondering if this ever happened to anyone else and how did you fix the problem?.

So the smaller connector was locked?

I don't think that's possible, just pull the slider tab a little harder and it should pop right back out. It might seem like it's 'locked' because it's a little hard to move the slider.
