Do you trust 'Tread Quarters' and similar shops?
I'm putting new wheels on my 335, and I'm wondering how you guys feel about local tire shops like Tread Quarters, Merchants Tire, etc., for doing mounting and balancing. (I already have the tires; just paying them to mount).
I know there is a specific procedure involved in removing a tire when you have the TPMS, and I'm wondering how careful these shops are. No offense, but some of the guys working there look like they just got fired from burger flippin' last week! Last edited by tps7c; 08-03-2012 at 09:27 AM.. |

You should look at the list of recommended installers in your area on tireracks website. If you really want to be safe find somewhere that has a touchless tire mounting machine, and roadforce balancing if you want to spend the extra money.
