Kw v1 rake or reverse rake !?

just installed mine and rear are at half height and front a bit between half and lowest

I have a e90 335 2011 lci x drive and the rear still sit lower than the front even tho the front is lowered more.

Is it better to have that reverse rake for the handling ?? I.kinda want to get the rear to max height for that rake cool stance but im afraid handling will suffer and the nose will dive on breaking

Can i see your cars on kw v1 x drive and toughts on rake vs reverse rake !

Let me know in the comment below ill post pics tomorrow

Most of the "rake" is an illusion of the front wheel well and rear well differences.

Have you actually put a level on the car to determine if it's actually sitting lower or higher?

Anyway, I have even rake visually but it's likely a touch down on the front as the rear always looked a bit more tucked.

I think last time I checked I was 12 threads up from the bottom on the front - I cant recall the rear but maybe 5-7.

I've yet to take a fresh picture of this new stance but will do next time I clean the car, haha.

For the best handling, corner balancing would be ideal but most people don't do that. As you suggested, a rake with a the nose down may cause abnormal handling and braking characteristics. I'd stay as close to even as possible.

I prefer a little less tuck in the rear.

Hey my kw v1 became soft and less stiff a bit now that they settle in . they are even more comfortable than x drive suspension oem in my opinion. they absorb bumps very well and im very happy. but i miss this first 300 km stiffness when i just installed them....did u you have the same experience ?

what can i do to improve handling and keeping it daily drivable ?

i learned to love handling upgrades as much as power upgrades.

I agree they ride better then OEM.

I recommend the UUC front and rear sway bar kit. The handling is much improved and virtually no drawbacks.

Although I love a car with good power, I'm also a big fan of brakes and handling. You gotta have proper balance.

What about m3 control arms and m3 rear subframe bushings ? Would they make a huge difference ?

here's a pretty good video on how to adjust your coil overs on the e90.

i randomly end up with a smiliar rack, basically 1finger gap in the front and 1.5finger gap in the rear.

Its ok to have a slight rack since our awd system is more rear wheel bias.

I would just upgrade to michelin pilot super sports for summer and spring and upgrade brakes and call it a day. I think your coil overs is good enough for the street. Obviously if your going to do track days, things like control arms and such would come into play.

It's just amazing how anyone with a camera on the internet is suddenly an expert.

There's so much more to it than this, where to start...? :/
