Is it OK to leave angel eyes unplugged?

I hate the way my GP 7500ks look after a year, so yellow and dim. I want to just unplug them until I get my angelibrights fixed or the LUX for E92 comes out. Is it OK to do this?

You can go into your idrive or control panel and turn them off.

Ok...never knew that. I don't have iDrive...what screen should I flick to on the stalk?
