Hey guys, Im from JAX but got re-located for a couple of months to Savannah Airport area, anything going on around here? do you guys meet to roll, eat or work on mods together?

Hey all,

I am fairly new to the forums but would like to get a group together sometime. I am in the Savanna area, but currently out of town for a little bit. I drive a Jet Black 07 E92 335i. I usually see a lot of VW guys out and Audi guys but no BMW groups. We should try to get something together. Would be nice to represent the BMW side of the house in our area.

I'm from St. Simons Island, GA which is about 60 miles south of Savannah. I just bought a 2008 135i coupe and I'd be interested in meeting up too.

Welcome. If you know anybody around you that is interested in building a BMW/ MINI crew please let them know. I would love to get as many people as possible. I encourage everybody here to do the same. Let's try to keep this thread alive so we can tru to get as many cars together as possible.

I hate to say it...but i talked to some people and they are just snobs. I don't daily drive my M5 so when I ask them about meeting and im in my Mustang some of them have the nerve to say can I afford a BMW. What happen to a yes or no answer?

Im at Ft Benning this month but Ill be back in April. We do need to try to get a meet togeather at some point. I went to the BMW CCA driving school at Road Atlanta this past weekend and Im hooked, hopefully I can make the Porsche club's track days at Roebling Road next month. If anyone plans on going to it let me know.

I'm sorry for those people although I am sure they are not. I know exactly how it is. I have had people think that I am this stuck-up, self-centered, tool because I drive a Bimmer. I just wanted a quality ride so I bought one. But whatever, I am nobody to judge so if you wanna show up in your Stang (which I love those too) then go ahead. I would like to get max participation from Bimmer owner's. Let me know brother.

If anyone is interested in the Porsche club's track days at Roebling Road here is a link to it, its the weekend of 16 APR. Roebling Road is located outside Savannah so its not too bad of a drive for anyone in the Ft Stewart area. So far it looks like Im the only one with a e9x that will be attending.

we haven't met yet, I'm from JAX, which I understand, you have met Brett (doing some coding) in JAX. I was relocated to Savannah for a couple of months and I'm back in JAX now, but we should try to organize a meeting having JAX and Savannah area together. I am glad to see this thread revived. I will be back in town soon and hopefully we can all meet up. I think it would be hot to have a group from both Sav and Jax. Also, I know somebody does some CODING in JAX. Is there any way that I can get in contact with this guy if he is part of this thread. I would like to see if I can get my '07 E92 Coded to close the windows and sunroof with the Fob.

Anyway people, please keep this alive. There are entirely to little BMW groups out there and I would like to see if we can get a nice group going.
