anyway..... guess I'll be one of the first to admit... I was driving around in my mom's 325i for a good 3 years.... only cause the 1987 Honda Accord kept breaking down on me

Now after college at age 21 I'm financing this....

Just curious, where are all of you under 25 year olds getting the money to

1. Finance a BMW
2. MOD the BMW
3. And still pay other bills/expenses (unless you live at home with mom and dad, which I am assuming if you do the above you do).

I am 20 and a pre-med student, I would never be able to afford all of that at once, and still get where I wanted to go.

I'm 25... but I bought the car when I was 23

And no...mom and dad didn't pay for it, or the mods.

You must live at home then. I don't see how you could afford a decent place and a BMW at 25. What do you do?

Just because people under the age 25 doesn't mean that they can't have jobs that pay them enough to finance, mod and still pay their bills without living with mom and dad. I've been on my own financially since I was 18 and have just budgeted my spending so that I'm able to have a nice car to drive and a house to live in. It's not rocket science... just fiscal common sense.

I will post new pics when I get my rpi scoops...

I think people have a hard time believing that the "under 25" group can afford such cars. I shouldn't be about whether the young can afford the cars, rather, enjoy that they have the taste to buy them. Some people spend money on things such as clothes and fancy restaurants. Me much more my cars than anything. I mean like pnguyen said, just be smart and manage your money well. Doesn't mean that we don't work hard for such nice things. Then again, its just money right? It shouldn't have a value when its something you enjoy doing or buying. I've been very fortunate to have such a career as a financial advisor (started at 19) and been on my own since I was 16. We all want the best for ourselves and I said everything I own i'll get with my own hands. I'm 23 btw.

Fiscal common sense? Spending money modding out your depreciating BMW doesn't seem like great fiscal common sense to me...

Then again, I must be talking to the wrong people.

To live anywhere where I live, you need to have serious amounts of money. I suppose affording a house and car in other parts of the country is much easier, since taxes and property value are much less.

Very nice cars everyone.

I got my 07 e90 when I was 22 (now turning 23 in a couple of months). I am very fortunate and soo greatful to receive this car as a gift (graduation/birthday) from my lovely parents. I was shocked and surprised when I got the car. (Man I almost passed out when I saw it ) This is actually my very first owned car.

It is my dream in the furture to repay my parents with their dream car to show them how thankful I am .

Everyone has very unique stories of how they got there car, or how they earned there car. I am very proud to say my parents bought my car for me.
So long as we all act mature, I don't see any reason for people to bash other members for having there car paid for.

Anyhoo, back OT, since I got my car I have put on a couple of mods. The whole list can be seen in my signature.

I am still in the process of adding things to my car (one of them are new rims ).
