Newbie here needs help

Hi all, I just took delivery of my 2005 (55-reg) e90 330d m sport that has idrive, navigation, boston leather in black, xenons with angels in (i think) in le mans blue, immaculately presented. Has done just over 102k. A few things missing though.

Where can I get a download of the user manual from cheaply if not free?
Also was told the cd changer in the boot needed a code to unlock; how can I get this resolved?

It has also had a remap to 289bhp...so it's pretty quick! Pics to follow.

...oh and one gripe whilst driving back from picking the car up was that I could hear an annoying whistling noise like wind hiting against the wipers or something like that. Increased noise wih speed.
Should I be worried?
Btw wasn't a terribly windy day at all too.

About the manual, download it free from American bmw website for 2006 330i as they had it from 2006.
For rest of your questions, I hope somebody else may be able to assist you further.

Bigbang - Cheadle Staffs or Cheadle Cheshire?

If the CD changer is fitted it should work as it is - it would only need coding if it wasn't factory fit and had been added aftermarket.

The whistling noise I have no idea - have you checked all the usual things like tyre pressures, windows shut, bonnet closed properly? I only ask because I drove 100 odd miles back after buying mine with the bonnet still on the catch after the valet guy hadn't shut it properly

Parapaul, I live in cheadle, cheshire. I will ask the dealer again if it was an aftermarket one..dont think so as it looks like the one in our x3 which has the same CD cassette.
With regards the whistling it sounds like coming from the front windscreen/wiper area so will double check tht. Otherwise smiles all round with this motor. Not had a bmw diesel before and my local bmw indie told me to stay away from them and stick to petrol..less hassles.
So far am fully enjoying the ride.

I got my first BMW at the back end of last year 330d Msport touring, same colour.. And have to say I love it!

This forum is splendid too - many helpful peeps.

Ps was your remap already done when you bought it? I'm thinking of getting mine done as. Could do with a little better economy
