Staggered rims question

I have a friend that said if you run staggered rims on a xi that It will mess up your drivetrain or transmission. I have 19 inch 245 front and 19 275 rear and I just want to know if what my friend is saying is true and if it is true then I guess I will have to buy a new pair of rims.

245 front and 275 rear should be fine.. If youre running 5mm less sidewall on the rears

That should give you a rolling diameter diff of less than 1%..

go to the wheels and tires section (sponsored by tire rack) and enter the info at the top.. If its within 1%.. youre good
