60mm offset on rear sound right?

I have 19x9.5 35mm offset with 275/30-19 now.
If I go to 19x11 with 305/30-19, what offset do I need?
Tires are 30 mm wider. (A little less as I'm going from Michelin Pilot Super Sports which run wide, to Bridgestone Potenza RE-11). I have 30 mm of space when car is level and flat between the strut and tire. I need them mounted so tires are 25 mm more inboard, and 5 mm more outboard. Does this mean I want a 60 mm offset? 35+25? Am I missing something? Sounds huge.

I don't think 60et offset even exists. 41et offset will be about 25mm close to strut and about 12mm further towards fender with the sizes you've given

OK. What am I missing? I'm doing custom AG for or forgestar wheels probably. that doesn't make sense as the tire is 30 mm wider and your measurements add up to 37mm.
I thought going from 35 to 43 would shift them inward 8mm. So add in half the extra tire width, 15 mm, would put me in 23mm and out 7mm? Is this correct? So I'd need 45 offset to get what I want? 25mm in, 5 mm out?

Inset is 0.99" or ~25mm and Outset 0.51" or ~12mm

That's just factoring the tire width and offset, not the wheel width itself. Go to tire-size-calculator.info and put your numbers in.

OK. Not sure how it's calculated but that says I need 19x11 43et so I'll go with it. That makes more sense to me.

I figure Bridgestone can't run bigger than Michelin and if they run slightly smaller they'll be perfect.

Just a heads up you put 10" in the calculator but your first post says 9.5"

What model do you have? Just because the offset works in the calculator doesn't mean it will work for your model. That is a generic calculator and does not take into consideration the depth of the strut housing away from the hub mount. I Have an 11.5 with a 35et and need an 8mm spacer to clear the strut and spring perch by about 4mm. Please go into the stance thread and ask the appropriate questions before you by $4k wheels that may not fit.

Yeah. I noticed the 10 but 9.5 vs 11 is about the same. I realize they're all different. I physically measured for extra space.

Illustration won't show 9.5 but number chart is correct.

Yes but if he says he has 30mm to the strut housing and the new wheels are 25mm further in than he should be ok.

Yes I think there is between e93 and e90 but I don't know what. I'm going off physical measurements on mine.

Exactly. I'm not going off what should be available according to my model. I physically measured it.

Correct. But that's only 5mm from the strut. He's talking about running a 305 meaty tire in a small wheel well too. There will be suspension and fitment issues. It's not simply about measuring raw numbers. Fender lining, wheel fender arches, suspension travel, camber, etc; all play a factor.

Tire rack guys said 1/4" or more from the strut and I'm good. The tire not the wheel is 5mm from the strut, or about my 1/4" I'd rather error to inward too as I can always add a spacer if necessary. And Robc1976 has run 305. He said roll, camber 1.5. 40-43 et and they'll fit. Figured try 43 without camber and stretch if needed.

11"et40 sounds about right. 11" is the widest you can fit without poking. You just need to get it as close to the strut as possible. I have 11"et28 and -1.8 camber I don't know for sure and I'm not by my car to measure it, but I don't have much more than 1/2" of clearance on the inside. I am not sure but 11"et43 might be a few mm too close on the inside.
