My 335i
I've had it for just over a month now, and I absolutely love it. It's a 2009 e90 335i xDrive with Nav, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, and USB Audio.
I wish it had sport or M-Sport and a manual transmission, but when you buy used some times you can't be that picky. I wasn't looking for AWD either but up here in Canada, almost all of the 335i sedans are xDrive. Now that it's winter, I don't regret the AWD, but it certainly doesn't handle the same as my e46 RWD did. The factory rims are some pretty bland looking 17" ones. I might have to upgrade those come summer time. I wanted Alpine White, and I don't regret it at all. I just love it in white. This pic is from yesterday when the kids and I washed some of the grime off. I've got my winter tires and rims on right now. I'm very glad I got the black rims I love the look on the white car. The power is just addictive. I drove a Ferrari 458 Italia this summer, and ever since then I needed something with more power! The 325i was a great car but it's not even close to the 335i. |

Get some snow tires and couple it with X Drive and your car will dominate the snow this winter.

Already done! The black rims have Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D DSST RunOnFlat tires. It's pretty great in the snow now even though the Dunlops are not quite as good as the X-Ice tires I used to have.

Congrats on your purchase! I bought an 09 335xi a couple of months ago and I can understand the struggle to find a RWD manual. I looked for at least 6 months and finally settled on the xi. However, since I used it for the first time in the snow I have learned to appreciate the AWD. Good luck with your new ride!

Wow this winter is sure a lot different than last. We just got more snow dumped on us, but worst of all was the 1" of rain that fell before hand and then froze into a pristine sheet of ice.
The roads are treacherous! The xDrive is paying for itself already! I have to say the Dunlop tires have been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a winter RFT. |

Only mods would be cosmetic. I want to get some Lux Angel Eyes I think. The stock halogen look is just kind of terrible. I'd like to replace the factory wheels too because they are pretty bland.
The car has plenty of power for the driving I do, so I don't feel the need for Dinan or anything. I wish we had a better track around here. Still, I can't wait to take it out to the BMW club track days next year even if the track is pretty small. |

Braukmin, nice looking car. Get some Lux Angel Eyes. Did same for mine couple years ago and looks great...adds a little extra mod flare for low cost.
Winter driving you will find it great. Even with performance winter tires Michelin PA3 find great traction and handling. I would show pics of mine...but wait, I got read ended big time last night on way home. Sorry for the thread jack. Stopped at red light for about 2-5 seconds, then I see 2011 Corolla speeding up to me, then pow...all her air bags deployed. Thank God noboy injured except my baby car...
