BOV vs. DV
what's the difference? Do I need both or can I get just one or the other? also, is this a mod I could leave in for service or would they give me problems? Thanks.

You can only get one or the other. Depend on your dealership or if you know the SA, etc. But it shouldn't matter to them, as it does not harm the engine.

Well diverter vales divert the airflow from the chargepipe back to the intake track of the turbos. A atmospheric BOV vents to the outside. The only thing i would think is that diverter vales help with spool between shifts by dumping air back into the intake track before the compressor side of the turbo. That would be my theory behind it but our turbos are so small already I dont think we have lag issues between shifts so I think diverter valves or BOV either or is fine BOV is more sound oriented and diverter valves retain more or less stock sound but they are forged vs stock crappy diaphrams.
