If you're getting a 335i, chrome tips are standard.

Removing or covering the amber side reflectors in a possibility. Easy on the coupe, not so easy on the sedan. How about a different shift knob?

here you go buddy:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...filter+removal make sure you sand the edges of the intake box after cutting the charcoal filter (i cut the filter with a box cutter, sanded the edges down really well, wiped the entire intake box with a damp towel and then used a hair drier to make sure all the left over bits are gone) , or else it will get sucked into the engine and thats a big no no!

That sounds like one for the mythbusters bro. Actually HKS foam fiters are quite the popular mod in Japan versus K&N is popular in the US. I had K&N in my 300Z and it was a bit improvement over stock, but when I installed the HKS foam filter it gave me an even better throttle response and a better feel of acceleration. The engine gets a tad bit louder when pedal is to the metal, which is always a good thing.

e90, im not much of a very heavy modder. I like to keep the car's mechanicals alone like filters and such. Just some stuff that either gives me comfort or looks better from the outside. No xenons so im getting some other halogen lights like silverstars or nokyas.

That's what we all say, but once you start, it's hard to stop.
Blackline tail lights are cheap and easy to install. You could consider a front lip or splitters to change the appearance a bit. A short shift knob is a quick, easy, and inexpensive mod as someone else had suggested. Even aftermarket springs, which make a big difference in the stance of your car, are very affordable. |
