Oh if people would actually spend the time to read something. There hasn't been one failure. The lawsuit claims premature wear. The sole plaintiff in the lawsuit engine didn't even fail, he just had repairs done he doesn't think he should have paid for. He also claims to have lost money on trade-in of his 2007 E63.

This suit won't even go to a jury trial. This does not even come close to the N54 lawsuit which had wide spread support from many many owners.

Then FORGET about the Aston and Porsche. 2nd, the best one that fits your needs that WILL also be fun to ride in is the BMW 35 or C63.
He should not get a 335i, the next 3-series will be on lots in the spring. That will kill resale value of all e9x 3-series.

1.) New Audi S5
2.) New BMW 335xi
3.) New C63 AMG Coupe
4.) New Cadillac CTS-V
5.) 2010 Jaguar XK
6.) 2009 Porsche Carrera 4
7.) 2007 Aston Martin Vantage

Most important factors to me are:
  • Longevity and Durability: It will be my daily driver for a few years, so I'd expect at least 60,000 miles without seeing "Check Engine" lights.
  • Overall quality: Fit, finish, style.
  • Driving experience: I'm not going to take it to the track, but when I want to get up and go, I expect it to snap to.
  • Maintenance costs: I don't want it to become a money pit, of course.
Lol your list is all wrong buddy. Gotta pay to play.

Might as well buy a Honda Accord or G37
