From what I have read so far, BMW Bluetooth pulls contact info from the SIM Card. You cannot access the contact information on the SIM using an iPhone. Pop the SIM card, stick it in another phone, access your SIM contacts (Add, delete, or edit) and then pop it back in your iPhone. Don’t import your contacts from your SIM to your iPhone. That should work. Will test it today.

The Bluetooth reads off the phone memory. I don't have any contacts on SIM and it read everything I have.
Make sure that all your contacts are in one folder. That might help. I've used other phones and they work flawlessly. |

You're going to have to be more specific with your concern.
Simply put, in the bluetooth menu of the PHONE does it say "Sync all contacts" or is it set to a specific list? |

Thanks for the information, I checked the setting on the phone and all settings seem to be correct. I paired down my contacts to about 70 and i did see a difference in what was showing up on the ca screen. Maybe its just a BMW limitation with the iPhone.

The BMW was the first vehicle to support the iPhone so they pride themselves in their integration. You've really got to give us some specifics/screenshots etc. of what's going on here to help you out. I sync >500 contacts without difficulty on iDrive. So: Model Year BMW iDrive or not Current iPhone model and software version Current computer operating system Current iTunes version At a minimum that information will give us a great bit of detail. I was the first one to sync an iPhone with the BMW on this board, and also happen to be an iPhone developer. Without this information, it's really difficult to figure out what's messed up. Some pictures of what your iDrive display (if you have it) would be beneficial too. |

Sorry for the late response.
Model 2011 323i Iphone model: 3Gs PC Windows XP Itunes version 10 I do see my contacts on the screen (tiny screen) and I use the A-Z option to look for my contacts. However I can't seem to find a way to list the contacts so I can scroll through instead of having the buttons assigned to the contacts. Does that make sense? |

Thanks everyone, I was able to get my contact list once I un paired the phone and re paired it. After you hit the A-Z button, you can list the contacts on the tiny screen. Thanks again folks
